HQI

Project Overview

OFMQ is part of the Health Quality Innovation Network (HQIN), a program providing technical assistance to Critical Access Hospitals (CAHs) and other rural hospitals to improve their Medicare star rating and avoid payment penalties by implementing processes associated with safer, more effective care.

OFMQ supports 14 rural Oklahoma hospitals on quality improvement priorities including hospital-acquired infections, readmissions, sepsis, venous thromboembolism, ventilator-associated events, falls, opioids, behavioral health, and other inpatient quality measures.

OFMQ also provides support through data analytics, education, and implementation of QI programs and processes.
