CATCH-UP

Project Overview

Recognizing that Oklahoma’s populations are at particular risk for COVID-19 and testing rates have lagged, the National Institutes of Health funded the Community-engaged Approaches to Testing in Community and Healthcare settings for Underserved Populations (CATCH-UP) to assist primary care clinicians to implement guidelines-based testing for SARS-CoV-2. This project includes assisting practices to deploy cutting-edge, rapid Point-of-Care testing, and to better understand the barriers and concerns for testing in vulnerable populations.

This program is part of the national Rapid Acceleration of Diagnostics (RADx) effort designed to help the United States respond more effectively to the COVID-19 pandemic. The project is a cooperation between the Oklahoma Primary Healthcare Improvement Cooperative, the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, the Oklahoma State Department of Health, and our community partners.
