Peer Review
Peer Review in healthcare has been implemented for hundreds of years and is still commonly utilized to assure both the quality of care being provided and the medical necessity of care being delivered to patients.
Peer Review is completed for credentialing purposes both for granting initial privileges and for continued staff privileges. Peer Review can also be initiated when questions arise regarding the delivery, appropriateness or necessity of medical services.
Peer Reviews are conducted using national criteria, practice guidelines and standards of care. There is also focus on clinical expertise and evidence-based medicine. Our reviews are performed by Allied Healthcare Professionals and Board Certified Physicians in all major specialties.
